Job Purpose : 

This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and development of business processes from the IT perspective by ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency in defining, delivering, and supporting the implementation of IT policies and procedures, as well as proposing improvements in information technology.

 

Requirement:

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Information Support or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an IT Support professional.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems.
  • Understanding of network administration, computer networks, and network installation.
  • Proficiency in asset and facilities management.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Information & Technology Support team.
  • Oversee and be responsible for the team’s work by regularly reviewing processes and outcomes and providing assistance when needed.
  • Prepare regular reports to be submitted to the supervisor.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team through strong KPI measurement and monitoring, performance management, coaching, and training.
  • Establish and develop the company’s Information & Technology Support function, including the development of overall IT support strategies.
  • Create monthly/annual action plans, monitor achievements, and conduct analysis.
  • Ensure operational tasks run efficiently and optimally.
  • Manage smooth day-to-day IT operations, including equipment provisioning, user access management, and contribute to overall IT process improvement.
  • Provide end-user support to employees and offer advice on standard office applications and best practices as the company’s needs evolve.
  • Maintain and manage information technology and computer systems, including email, PCs, laptops, phones, switches, routers, printers, Wi-Fi, projectors, etc.
  • Perform hardware and software installation services, cabling and networking, PC configuration and upgrades as needed for existing and new employees, including testing and troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Design and implement office network infrastructure.
  • Monitor the use of devices to ensure data and infrastructure security against both internal and external threats.
  • Ensure financial goals are met by managing the IT budget through forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
  • Review and maintain cost usage regularly.
  • Control expenditures by tracking and reporting key functional cost metrics to enhance effectiveness.
  • Ensure efficient use of the budget.
