Job Purpose :
This position is responsible for creating tax reports, conducting tax and basic tax audits and maintaining tax documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum S1 graduate majoring in Economics, Accounting or Tax
- Minimum 2 year experience in Taxation
- Fluent in speaking and writing Indonesian. Fluent in speaking and writing English.
- Can operate Google Spreadsheet & Microsoft Excel well.
- Understand the basics of taxation and its calculations well.
Job Descriptions:
- Ensure the company’s tax obligations are fulfilled in a timely manner and in compliance with applicable regulations, including tax payments and reporting (Unification Tax Return, VAT, and others).
- Review, verify, and supervise financial transactions related to tax obligations, including vendor invoices, purchases, and data from the General Ledger.
- Manage the calculation of corporate income taxes (monthly and annually), including deferred taxes.
- Prepare and manage tax documentation systematically and accurately, both in physical and digital formats.
- Assist in the preparation of the Corporate Income Tax Return (SPT PPh Badan) and support the completion of required supporting documents.
- Perform tax reconciliation and equalization, and ensure the collectability of tax withholding slips (PPh) from customers.
- Support tax audits or data requests from tax authorities by preparing relevant documents and data.
- Participate in tax audit planning, risk identification, and accurate and timely audit execution.
- Report audit findings and provide improvement recommendations to management.
- Assist in tax litigation processes such as SP2DK, tax audits, objections, and other legal proceedings in coordination with the Tax Manager.
- Actively coordinate with internal teams to ensure data validity and completeness of tax documentation.
- Maintain effective communication with external parties such as vendors, customers, consultants, and tax authorities to ensure smooth tax processes.
- Monitor developments in local and international tax regulations affecting the company and provide recommendations as needed.
