Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for carrying out end-to-end planning processes to ensure every customer order is executed smoothly. It involves monitoring shipments from the point of departure to arrival, continuously updating customers, and escalating any issues to the designated PIC to ensure the delivery arrives safely.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in Logistics or Transportation.
- At least 1 year of work experience in end-to-end Planning & Monitoring in the logistics/transportation industry.
- Strong skills in Transportation Planning & Monitoring.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
Areas of Responsibilities:
Order Planning
- Manage vendor assignments, order execution, operational planning, status updates, and order tracking.
- Create and maintain performance monitoring reports as needed.
- Review and verify additional charges.
Internal and External Relations
- Build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
- Coordinate with Business Development / Account Executives for backhaul orders using dedicated fleets.
- Coordinate with the Supply Team for vendor performance management, vendor SOP compliance, and vendor replacement in case of poor performance.
Process Improvement
- Gather and provide information about customers, vendors, drivers, and routes to support process improvement initiatives.
Delivery Monitoring
- Regularly monitor ongoing deliveries by following up with drivers.
Customer Management
- Respond to customer inquiries clearly and accurately.
- Provide regular updates to customers and relevant teams/departments.
